Ed Schroeder is Business Development and Delivery Executive for K&R Negotiation Associates. He brings over 30 years of experience in the high technology industries spanning sales, marketing, services, negotiations and executive management. Ed has led internet, technology, and services businesses in both large and small company operations as well as start-up ventures.
During his 25 plus years at IBM, Ed progressed through the sales and management ranks to become General Manager of a $250 million IBM business area. In that position, he grew the IBM revenue 15% and market share 10%. Under Ed’s leadership, his organization achieved the highest profit margin, the highest customer satisfaction rating, and the highest employee morale index among all US areas. In his last position at IBM, Ed was the Area Vice President for Direct Marketing. In this position, Ed was the General Manager for a $450 million sales territory (35% revenue growth) and managed Direct Marketing support for a $5 billion dollar portion of the IBM business.
After leaving IBM, Ed was the Senior Vice President for a technology services company, where he negotiated multiple large contracts (several with IBM). Most recently, he was the CEO of an internet services company, and CEO/co-founder of a start-up company in the B2B marketplace. As the CEO, Ed negotiated for over $30 million dollars in venture funding. He managed strategic acquisitions, and consummated multiple marketing and technology partnerships.
Ed is a graduate of Rutgers University and lives in South Salem NY.
